She was predeceased by: her parents, Conley Bradley Stephens and Cora Alice Stephens (Bastin); her husband William Richard "Bumpy" Brown; and her siblings, Lloyd Stephens, Marie Kriner and Grace Lowe.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Brown (Kathy James) of Shelbyville and Nancy Kennedy (Tim) of Shelbyville; and her grandchildren, Matthew Jones (Leanne), Corey Alford (Jessica), Courtney Rogers (Charles), Shayla May (Chris), JoAnn Kennedy (Matt Sweeney), Jamie Sargent (Carlton), Emily Kennedy, Jennifer Lusk (Tim Lish), Amber Aju (Luis) and Taylor Garwood (James). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 11 nieces and nephews.
