We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2024, at the age of 72, Linda B. Newton of Shelbyville, Indiana, born in Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Albert Brown and Mayzelle Brown (Anderson); her husband James B. Newton; and her sister Mary Jo Phelps. She is survived by: her stepson Donald Benjamin "Ben" Newton (Lisa) of Tongapatu Island; her sister Patricia Lynn Brackney (Michael) of Shelbyville; her brother-in-law Allen J. Phelps of Shelbyville; her cousin Janet K. Dodd of Shelbyville; and her pet Bingo. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
