She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Carroll and Elizabeth Carroll (Marksbury); her husband Joseph Dwain Thurston; and her sister Mary Martin. She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Scott Thurston of Shelbyville, Jonathan Dwain Thurston (Janna) of Rushville and Bradley Aaron Thurston (Mindy) of Greensburg; her siblings, Shirley Axsom (Ron) of Columbus, Diana Reed of Shelbyville, Teresa Greiber (Randy) of South Carolina, Robert Carroll (Wilma) of Jeffersonville, Mike Carroll of Shelbyville, Tim Carroll (Theresa) of Shelbyville, David Carroll (Cheryl) of Shelbyville and Tony Carroll of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Morgan Hirschauer (Keith), McKenzie Thurston, Marie Thurston, Hyatt Thurston, Riley Thurston, Jordan Thurston and JoLeigh Thurston; and her great grandchildren, Lilli Dusenbury, Layla Hirschauer, Sawyer Thurston and Grayson Martin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
