He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martin Holder and Elsie Holder Downey (Stephens); his sisters, Leecie Holder and Faye Hoover; and his grandson Jade Christopher Holder.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Carol Edmonds; his sons, Christopher Holder (Deanna) of Shelbyville, Frederick Holder (Vickie) of Shelbyville and Jeffrey Holder (Dianna) of Morristown; his siblings, Jenny Fillippinie of Russell Springs, Betty Downey of Russell Springs, Ann Hill of Jamestown, Kentucky, Helen Napier of Jamestown, Kentucky, Ra Burns of Jamestown, Kentucky, Marcia Bell of Jamestown, Kentucky, Barbara Russell of Jamestown, Kentucky and Carl Downey of Russell Springs; his grandchildren, Dana Songer (Dan), Sara Latham (John), Shelby Hudson, Sara Augustine and Tisha Debaun (Scott); and his great grandchildren, Corbin Songer, Zella Latham and Dylan Debaun. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
