He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schene and Helen Schene (Cook); his wife Jeanne Schene (Kohlman) of Maurice's Catholic Church; and his siblings, Dennis Schene, Jean Snow, Judy Martin and Audrey Hornberger.
He is survived by: his sons, Eric Schene of Cincinnati, OH and Craig Schene (Mary) of Shelbyville, IN; his grandsons, Reid, Grant and Cole Schene; and his brother Jim Schene of Alaska.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the Weigel Funeral Home (151 W George St, Batesville, IN 47006). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Church (3027 Pearl St, Oldenburg, IN 47036).
