Goldie May Montgomery Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Goldie May Montgomery of Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Schonfeld and Lydia Schonfeld (Messmore); her spouse Gordon'Dude'Montgomery; her son Victor J. Montgomery; and her siblings, John Schonfeld, Paul Schonfeld, Edna Richey, Mary Graham, Nina Claytor and Opal Morgan.
She is survived by: her son Greg Montgomery (Judy) of Greensburg; her grandchildren, Ty Montgomery (Tiffany), Grant Montgomery (Teresa), Brooke Robertson (Brian), Stephanie Wehrman (Ryan), Natalie Pumphrey (Robert) and Ross Montgomery (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Charlie Pumphrey, Mollie Pumphrey, Annie Pumphrey, Alex Wehrman, Elaina Wehrman, Trevor Robertson, Blake Montgomery (Madeline), Damon Montgomery, Violet Montgomery, Nathan Montgomery, Andrew Montgomery and Zach Montgomery; and her daughters-in-law, Judy Douglas of Shelbyville and Carol Miller of Kokomo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
