It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald G. McCracken of Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert McCracken and Georgia C. McCracken (Baker); his sister Joanne Hartman; and his grandson Jonathan McCracken. He is survived by: his wife Martha Karen Davis; his children, Marci Hungerford (Mace) of Waldron and J. Michael McCracken (Lyn) of Utah; his grandchildren, Morgan Hungerford, Madigan Hungerford, Rachael Kowallis (Kory), Daniel McCracken (McKenna), Jared McCracken, Natalie Crump (Janson) and Nick McCracken (Anja); and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Kowallis, Grey Kowallis, Milo Kowallis, Maverick McCracken, Brooks McCracken, Lennon McCracken and Baby Crump.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176).
