George W. Hobbs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George W. Hobbs of Shelbyville, Indiana, who passed away on October 16, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hobbs and Pearl Hobbs (Luse); his wife Marian Joy Bass; his stepson Keith Scudder; and his brothers, Carl J. King and Richard S. Hobbs.
He is survived by: his son Glen W. Hobbs (Tina) of Shelbyville; his brother Emory Hobbs of Noblesville; his grandchildren, Michael Hobbs (Melissa), Sarah Gibbs (Brandon), Traci Mahley (Jeff) and Scott Scudder (Lori); and his stepgrandchildren, Christina Kaake, Crystal Rhoads, Katie Herbert, Katrina Watson, Kelli Mejia, Robin J. Bandy and Lea Ann Davidson. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren.
