He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence B. Sorrells and Josie Bell Sorrells (Hope); his spouse Georganna Sorrells (Canady); and his son Michael Sorrells. He is survived by: his children, John Sorrells (Brenda), Joe Sorrells of Shelbyville and Kathi Clifton (Dan); his brothers, Benny Sorrells and Jerry Sorrells; and his grandchildren, Crystal, Ryan, Heather, Rob, John, Joshua and Lindsey.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Freeman Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, Carmony-Ewing Chapel (819 S Harrison St, Shelbyville, IN 46176).
