She was predeceased by: her parents, Harrold Gruell and Mary Gruell (Leever); her husband Kevin Bennett; and her brothers, Charles Gruell and David Gruell.
She is survived by: her sons, Shawn Cherry (Kimberly Herrington) of Shelbyville and Paul Bennett (Emmily) of Clinton, TN; her grandchildren, Araya Cherry (Neveah Dougan), Blake Herrington and Austyn Brown Kayleigh (August Fredrick); and her great grandchildren, Zaidyn Mays, Korbyn Mays, Ezra Mays and Charleigh Brown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rays Crossing Christian Union Church (2115 N 600 E, Shelbyville, IN 46176). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Ray's Crossing Christian Union Church (2115 N 600 E, Shelbyville, IN 46176).
