He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Blackburn, Jr. and Stella Blackburn (Brunty); and his siblings, Gene, Larry Blackburn, Lois Webb and Lucille Messer.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Blackburn (Clark); his sons, Rick Blackburn (Inara) of Palm Coast, Florida, Michael Blackburn (Pamela) of Flat Rock and Dale Blackburn (Amy) of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Michelle Ryan, Adam Blackburn of Bradley Blackburn, J. D and Cory McFall; his great grandchildren, Letti, Leo, Harper, Trey of Hayden, CJ and Sophia; and his siblings, Paul Blackburn, Eddie Blackburn, David Blackburn, Ernestine Walker and Geri Williamson. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
