It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Gordon of Shelby, Indiana, born in Rushville, Indiana, who passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Gordon and Rosemarie Gordon; his brother Steve Gordon (Carolyn); his parents-in-law, Walter and Dorothy Manlief; his brother Bill; his siblings-in-law, Penny Gordon, Gary, Sue Anne Manlief and Stephen Manlief; and his son-in-law Tony Dixon.

He is survived by: his wife Diana Kaye Manlief; his children, Carrie Anne Dixon-Womack (Mike Womack) of Charlottesville, Christopher Gordon (Jennifer) of Greenfield, Michelle Gordon (Mark Helser) of Carthage, Max and Diana; his grandchildren, Ezekiel Dixon, Layla Gordon, Boaz Dixon, Addison Gordon, Hannah Womack and Mallory Helser; and his sister Marsha Noble (Ron).
