It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Walters of Shelburn, Indiana, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on March 17, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Walters and Vivian Walters. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Beverly Savoree (Charlie) of Florida, Daniel Walters (Larissa), Lori Reed (Matt) of Illinois, April Hale (Travis), Annette Pridemore and Brian Jenkins; and his siblings, Tom Walters (Shirley), Ron Walters and Caroline Gilbert. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
