It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mildred Louise Hyde of Shelburn, Indiana, born in Vincennes, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Crowley and Mildred Baldwin Crowley; her husband George Hyde; her children, Wayne Hyde, Linda, Eddie Seay and Jennifer Hyde; her grandson Gene Hyde; and her son-in-law Kim Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Bill Hyde, Mark Hyde, Cheryl Cox, Bonnie Chambers and Tenneal Woodruff. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren, friends.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Little Flock Cemetery.
She was awarded the Governor's Award for her fund raising abilities to make a significant financial contribution to open the Alzheimer's wing of the Indianapolis V.A. Hospital.
