With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry Ross Pounds Jr. of Shelburn, Indiana, who passed away on November 18, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Henry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Henry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ross Pounds Sr. and Naomi Grace Pounds. He is survived by: his children, Shad Pounds (Terri), Tia Roessler (Jerry) and Amber Westerkamm; his siblings, Rick Pounds (Jana), Traci Wright (Buck) and Jody Baker (Jay); his son Dirk Pounds; his grandchild Daric Pounds; and his great grandchild Lennox Snapp. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holmes Memorial Chapel (642 W Silver St, Sullivan, IN 47882). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
