He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Dunford and Ernestine Robertson Dunford; and his siblings, Larry Dunford and Janice Campbell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Dunford; his son Daren Dunford (Missy) of Shelburn; his grandchildren, Megan Lotz (Jason), Lauren Woodsmall (Michael) and Jared Dunford; and his great grandchildren, Harper, Remy, Gia and Rhett.

In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made in honor of Eldon L. Dunford to Sullivan County 4H Council 1361 E Co Rd 75 N Sullivan, IN 47882.
