He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe R. Mayfield and Wilmina Stone Mayfield; his wife Helen McAnally; and his brother Everett Lee Mayfield. He is survived by: his daughters, Dortha Carol Mowrey (Merle) of Oklahoma and Phylis Marie Beckstrom (Ron) of Georgia; and his brother Eugene Mayfield (Brenda) of Terre Haute. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
