He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Ray Shepherd and Chesney Feltner Shepherd; his wife Virginia Shepherd; and his stepson Lee. He is survived by: his children, Bill Shepherd of Georgia, Karla Remeika of Indianapolis and Krissy Andrews of Shelbyville; his stepdaughter Virginia Brauer of Terre Haute; and his siblings, Phillip G. Shepherd of Griffin, Diana Norman of Bargersville and Phyllis "Kay" Cholewinski of Farmersburg, Indiana.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
