He was predeceased by: his son Doug Frankle; and his siblings, Robert Snow, Jimmy Collins and Linda Erickson. He is survived by: his spouse Carolyn Sue Snow (Woodard); his children, Cindy Ludwig, Marcia Campbell (Bill), Rensselaer Frankle and John Frankle; his brother Jeffery Collins (Linda); his siblings-in-law, Everett Erickson, Margie Whittaker (Keith), Mary Jane Woodard and Connie Weaver (John); and also Beulaville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
