She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mont and Lilly Belle Hawkins (Jarrett); her sisters, Mary Louise Hawkins and Margaret "Peg" Hawkins; and her brothers-in-law, Tom Henderson and Wendell Chambers.
She is survived by: her husband Hubert "Max" Henderson; her children, Gae Matchette (Gene) and Monty Henderson (Kandi); her grandchildren, Caleb Matchette (Heather), Caylee Ballard (Jason), Austin Henderson (Alandra) and Alexandra Al (Clint); her great grandchildren, Shyla Conwell (Dylan), Camden Matchette, Noah Ballard, Beckett Ballard, Crew Ballard and Turner Henderson; her great great grandchild Deacon Conwell; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Henderson, Virginia Chambers, Julia Jane Faulkner and Helen Henderson. She is also survived by many nephews & nieces.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young-Nichols Funeral Home (216 W Jefferson St, Tipton, IN 46072). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
