He was predeceased by: his parents, Valentine Quillen and Lily Quillen (Reager); his wife Beatrice "Betty" Quillen; his children, Larry Dean Quillen and Wanda Sue Quillen; and his grandson Christopher Shaun Quillen.

He is survived by: his son Richard Quillen; his grandchildren, Heath Quillen and Chaz Quillen; his great grandchildren, Christopher, Sophia, Bonnie and Pixie; and his siblings, Harry Quillen and Linda Morris.
