It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Lyster (Seymour, Indiana), who passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oren Lyster and Mabel Lyster; her grandparents, Elizabeth (Bessie) and Henry R. Hoffman; and her cousins, Virginia Ferry, Dick Hoffman and Casey Polatsek.
She is survived by: her cousin Judy Rohlfing (Steve); her grandson Maurice; her grandson-in-law Michael Ferry (Janet); her great grandchildren, Ethan Ferry, Autumn Bowden and Sean Ferry; and also Kelly Thompson (Shane). She is also survived by brothers or sisters, no husband, no children.
Only a pandemic was strong enough to stop the classes.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shirley A. Lyster Endowment Fund at Columbus North's Bull Dog Alumni Association or to the First United Methodist Church.
