She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lee and Dorthy Sheperd (Stinnet); her former spouse Thomas Joseph Farace, Sr.; her husband Roy Matthews; her son Ron Farace; and her siblings, Robert Sheperd, Patricia Sheperd, Katherine Mayberry, Debra Sheperd and Terry Lowery.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Farace of St. Louis, John Farace of Brownstown, Renee Decker (Ric) of Camby, Shelly Farace of Brownstown, Cara Farace of Brownstown and Nancy Farace of Brownstown; her siblings, John Sheperd of Wentzville, Jerry Sheperd (Marla) of St. Charles, Missouri, Ruthie Bayer (Dan) and Dorthy Sheperd; her grandchildren, Joey Farace, Britni Farace (Sean Phillips), John, Jr. Farace (Amber), Christina Farace (Eli), Elizabeth Farace (Nick), Kaniya Farace, Aniah Decker, Haven Farace and Giavana Farace; her great grandchildren, Vinatieri Farace, Kayden Farace, Nicholas Farace and Theodore Farace; and her friends, Brenda, Toni and Ruby.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spurgeon Funeral Home (206 E Commerce St, Brownstown, IN 47220). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church of Vallonia.
