He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Kuhn and Dorris Wilburn Kuhn; his sister Marcia Kuhn; and his brothers-in-law, Leroy Smith and Jerry Esser.
He is survived by: his spouse Leslie Pettitt; his sons, Russell Kuhn Jr. of Coumbus and Rollin Kuhn of Portland, Oregon; his grandchildren, Kelsie Jayne (Daniel) of South Carolina and Kyle Kuhn of Madison; his great grandchild Bennett Jayne; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Pettitt Smith and Renee Esser.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society or Schneck Hospice in Seymour.
