He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Eckstein and Dorothy Eckstein (Stimpson); his siblings, Billy and Dewana; and his close friend Earl.
He is survived by: his children, Angela Eckstein and Eric Eckstein (Kelly Doerflein); his grandchildren, Hannah Eckstein-Hunsucker (Greg), Jacob Eckstein, Jesse Eckstein (Madi), Joe Doerflein (Rachel) and Casey Doerflein; and his children, Audrey, Emmy, Anara and Nora Belle (Terry Champ).
