It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Dale Mellencamp of Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on March 3, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Armin Mellencamp and Dolores Mellencamp (Burbrink); his children, Debra Ann and Todd Dale; his wife Naomi Joyce Polley; his sister Brenda; and his grandson Brandon Mellencamp.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Alicia (Bryce), Josh (Elizabeth), Blake (Lauren) and Zachary (Chaille); his great grandchildren, Brycen Copeland (Speedy), Alex, Quinn Utt, Mailey, Ryker Copeland (Jack), Rowyn (Rolly), Emersyn Mellencamp, Everett and Emmett Mellencamp; his children-in-law, Curt Copeland and Donna Mellencamp; and his siblings, George Mellencamp (Jodi), Carol Roher (Doug) and Mark Mellencamp.
