He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Harmon and Anna Hooker; his siblings, John Hooker, Edith Tibbets, Fern Rush Charlesworth and Lucy Fry; and his wife Rosemary Jean.
He is survived by: his son Robert D. Hooker of North Vernon; and his granddaughter Kathy Simmons of Connecticut. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
