He was predeceased by: his parents, David Guffey and Grace Guffey (Keith); his wife Rhonda Guffey (Fox); and his siblings, Bonnie Owens and David R. Guffey.
He is survived by: his daughter Terri Brewer (David); his granddaughter Shandy (Levi); his great grandchildren, Rylan, Aurora and Ryker; and his siblings, Danny Guffey, Jim Guffey (Patricia), Bill Guffey and Violet Oakley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Voss and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (316 N Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (1603 Shields Ave, Seymour, IN 47274).
Memorial contributions in Richard's honor may be made out to a charity of donor's choosing.
