He is survived by: his son Raymond K. Eakins Jr. (Pam) of Seymour, Indiana.; and his sisters, Mildred Aldrich, Marilyn Hull and Patty Daniel.

“My memories of Uncle Ray all involve his hearty laugh and his booming voice. He passed that same laughter down 2 generations to his son and his grandsons, which when together many laughs are shared.
