He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Myers and Ferne Louise Wright (Fitch); his son Michael Dale Wright II; his sisters, Susan Kay Wright, Sandy Ruane and Connie Jo Redford; his grandsons, Osiris David Wright and Brandon Michael Sturdivant; and his great grandchild Maxton Parris.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Hammond; his daughters, Pamela Ferne Coffin (George) of Seymour, Sherri Lynn Lipperd (Butch) of St. Paul, Julie Ann Franklin (Randy) of New Albany and Mary Michelle Hobbs (Andy) of Westport; his sister Sherry Ann Amy of California; and his sons, David Wayne Wright (Mary) of Arlington and Benny Edward Wright (Pamela) of Paris Crossing.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bass & Gasper Funeral Home (402 E Bennett St, Westport, IN 47283). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Wounded Warriors Project.
