He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Frank and Delorus Dorene Maynard (Wagoner); his son Melvin Maynard; and his siblings, Lowell Maynard, Jerry Maynard, Elizabeth Marcott and Carolyn Auffenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Maynard (Banister); his daughter Janice Hines (Rick); his grandsons, Jeremy Hines (Amy), Joe Hines and Jacoby Hines (Kristi); his great grandchildren, Emma, Luke, Riley, Ella and Haylee; and his sisters, Shirley Reynolds, Sandy Colvin and Gladys Gilbert.
