She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Burns and Mary Alice Burns (Walker); her husband Mark Sexton; her grandson Grant Reedy; and her sisters, Sharon Kopp and Sue Ann Burns.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alicia Reedy (Greg) of Seymour, Whitney Allman (Chris) of Seymour, Heather Makowsky (Bart) of New Albany and Courtney Kleber (Kris) of Seymour; her sister Alice Garrett of New Albany; and her grandchildren, Nathaniel Makowsky of Jeffersonville, Maria Makowsky of New Albany, R. J, Brett Kleber of Seymour and Brandon "Spanky" Kleber of Seymour.
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church of Seymour, Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary, or Schneck Medical Center Hospice.
