It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Marie Jordan of Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Linda Marie Jordan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mike Jordan; and her parents, Floyd Butler and Mary Butler (Helmbrecht). She is survived by: her sons, Joel Jordan (Carrie Green) and Brent Jordan (Shellie); her grandchildren, Gabe Jordan (Allison) and Casey Jordan; her siblings, Susie Shirley (Terry) and Larry Butler; her sister-in-law Jane Graham (Mike); and her pet Sally Walker. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (301 N Walnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (1603 Shields Ave, Seymour, IN 47274). Linda was very devoted to her grandchildren, watching grandson Gabe play sports and shopping with her granddaughter Casey. And she had a very unique pet: a little squirrel she named Fuzzy that appeared at her doorstep during the pandemic and visited her daily.
Memorial contributions in Linda's honor may be made out to Schneck Hospice or to the First Presbyterian Church.
