He was predeceased by: his parents, Norval Clifton Montgomery and Margaret Ann Montgomery (Belding). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Montgomery (Prather); his sons, Joe Montgomery (Lindsey) and Drew Montgomery; his grandsons, Myles and Reid Montgomery; his siblings, Deb Jolly (Jim), Kellie Coffman (Will) and Jeff Montgomery (Marcia); and his brother-in-law Steve Prather (Sandy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Voss and Sons Funeral and Cremation Services (316 N Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM and from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Riverview Cemetery (1603 Shields Ave, Seymour, IN 47274).
