She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Ahlbrand and Alice Steinwedel Ahlbrand; her brothers, Richard Paul Ahlbrand, A. James Ahlbrand, Phillip John Ahlbrand and Albert Charles Ahlbrand; and her grandson Harrison Mowery.

She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Jerry" McGinley; her children, Jeffrey McGinley (Patricia) of Martinsville, Lori Vaughn (Jeff) of Floyds Knobs and Jennifer Patmore (Michael) of Seymour; and her grandchildren, Bobby Wilson, Brandon Wilson (Liz), Christopher Patmore (Claire), Emma Keith (Jacob) and Haley Ellis (Andrew). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
