He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Baker and Vera Frances Baker (Rainey); his son Mark Baker; and his brothers, Terry Baker and Larry Baker.

He is survived by: his wife Marsha F. Baker; and his children, Michael Baker (Gina), Christina Orner and Matthew Orner.
