John D. Sprenger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John D. Sprenger of Seymour, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Sprenger and Bernice A. Sprenger (Pickerrell); his wife Irene B. Nichalson; his son Steve D. Sprenger; his sister-in-law Jane W. Henley; his nephew David S. Combs; and his in-laws, Francis "Sam" and Aldeen Nichalson.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen J. Surface of Seymour; his son-in-law Scott Surface of Brownstown; and his nephew Robert Combs (Kathy) of Jasper.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the St. Ambrose Catholic Church (325 S Chestnut St, Seymour, IN 47274). Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to St. Ambrose Catholic Church or St. Ambrose Catholic School.
