He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Hartsell, Sr. and Mary Esther Hartsell (Spray); and his brother James Hartsell. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Payton (Clint), Justin Hartsell (Heidi) and Jeanette Hartsell-Scott (Larry); his brother Ernest J. Hartsell (Miki); his grandchildren, Autumn, Ashlee, Adrian, Tyler, Tanner, Austin, Alex, Anick, Aiden, Justis, Karma and Kruz; his great grandchildren, Queyntn, Jesse, Xackyrn, Xyla, Jaxon, Blakeleigh, Jordan, Chandler, Wren and Hendrix; his niece Mary Jo Rivera; his nephews, Jeff Hartsell and Nanioa Hartsell; his great-niece Alana Pagba; and his pet Gypsy.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Jerry L. Hartsell to The American Legion Post 89, St. Ambrose Catholic Church or to The Knights of Columbus Council 1252.
