He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Christian Eglen and Norma Jean Eglen (Nay); his granddaughter Kinzie Nichole Eglen; his brother R. Danny Eglen; and his father-in-law Albert Stahl.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Stahl Eglen of Seymour; his children, Melanie Bradley (Deborah) and Jonathan Eglen (Staci); his grandchildren, Kaelen Davis (Dylan) and Kylie Eglen (Elijah Baumgardner); his sister Linda Sue Rose; his mother-in-law Ida Mae Stahl; his sisters-in-law, Laura Eglen, Connie Johnston, Nancy Stahl (Bill Thomas) and Linda Dye (David); and his pets, Piper and Lucky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department K9 Control Center, St. Paul Lutheran Church-Borchers, or to Jim's family to help cover the medical expenses.
