He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Fries and Bertha Fries (Briscoe). He is survived by: his wife Marcia Fries; his children, Paula Hamilton, Allison Francisco and Jeff Fries; and his grandchildren, Veronica, Natalie, Olivia, Emma, Alexis and Adam. He is also survived by family and friends.
