He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Brasher (Hall) and Samuel Walter; his brothers, Lee Brasher, Paul Brasher and Joe Brasher; and his brother-in-law Bob Deaton.

He is survived by: his sons, Gregory A Brasher (Teresa) and Shawn Bond; his grandsons, Cody Brasher (Lanie), Dalton Brasher and Dylan Brasher (Erika); his great grandchildren, Axel, Tristain and Ethan; and his siblings, David Brasher (Joyce), Dennis Brasher (Stacey), Joyce Deaton, Janice Senn (Danny) and Judy Couch (Grant).
