George S. Robbins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George S. Robbins of Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on October 14, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Robbins and Bessie Robbins (Myers); his siblings, Alice Locke, Joan Latham and Gene Robbins; and his son-in-law James R. Wayman.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Lauren; his wife Vera Ann; his daughters, Connie Jo Wayman of Norman, IN, Cathy L. Hildebrand (David) of Seymour, IN and Karen S. James (Michael) of Norman, IN; his grandchildren, Jennifer Harris (Alan), Emily Moody (Miles), Bradley Wayman, Ben Wayman, Brian Wayman (Casey), Beth Wayman, Kailee Bowman (Tim), Rachel Hildebrand and Kevin James; his great grandchildren, Nora Delight Harris, Luna Rose Moody, Eloise Avalon Moody, Amari James Tackett and Sophia Grace Bowman; and his brother James Robbins (Wanda) of Carmel, IN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Kurtz Church of the Nazarene, The Point, and Freeman Field Army Airfield Museum.
