He is survived by: his daughter Gerri Lucas Smith (Art) of Bowling Green, KY; his grandchildren, Chris Griffith (Lori), Wendi Johnson (Benjamin), Jami Flippo (Ben), Lanci Haswell (Blake), Sheri Gallicchio, Shaina Vinagro (Matt), John Jay Nicholson (Elle) and Haley Pompeii (Josh); his great grandchildren, Megan, Jalen, Kendra and Kaleb; his grandchildren, Schep, Dodger, Nash, Sloan, Dixie, Jackson, Scarlett, Stevie Rue and Jade; his great great grandchildren, Simon and Izzy; and his siblings, Carolyn Sue Krienke, Virginia Wessel and Wendell Borcherding (Carol).
Memorial contributions can be made in Donald Borcherding's memory to Trinity Lutheran High School or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
