He is survived by: his wife Jane; his siblings, Ronald McCleery (Betty), Betty Lou Burris and Karen Robinette (Rick); and his stepchildren, Rhonda Dunn, Brenda Dunn, James Spurgeon (Diane), Michele Resch (Peter), Daniel Powell (Theresa), Michael Powell and Timothy Powell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
