He was predeceased by: his father Omer Lee; and his daughter Christen Pollert. He is survived by: his mother Norma Sue Pollert (Russell); his wife Elaine Richart; his daughter Carrie Smith; his grandchildren, Elijah Rush Smith, Ezra Christien Smith and Ari Michael Smith; and his brothers, Ron Pollert (Donna), Brian Pollert and Tim Pollert (Cindy). He is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
