He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Thompson and Viola Thompson (Mason); his wife Beatrice Joann Thomas; his stepsons, Randy Bowling of Seymour, Roger Bowling of North Vernon and Ronnie Bowling (Tasha) of North Vernon; and his siblings, Roger Thompson of Dupont, Debbie Aldridge and Paula Dyson.
Memorials may be made in honor of Darrell to the American Cancer Society.
