He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodia Lee Hurt Cyrus and Ivan Eugene Cyrus; and his sisters, Anita J. Cyrus Austin and Barbara Cyrus Wilfong. He is survived by: his partner Reverna Day of Seymour, Indiana; his children, Adrian Young of Campbellsburg, Becca Theiring of Madison, Indiana, Cory Stewart of Madison and Zach Tyre of Madison, Indiana; and his siblings, Phyllis Steele (Charles) of Commiskey, Janet Phillips of Deputy, Beatrice Jenkins of Crothersville, Betty Barcume of North Vernon, Brenda Squires (Andrew) of East Corinth, Cindy Barnes (Albert) of Madison, Indiana and Orville Cyrus of San Jacinto, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre (325 Demaree Dr, Madison, IN 47250). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
