With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine A. Mantz of Seymour, Indiana, who passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Eli Shirley (Joe) and Francis Young Shirley Huls; her husband George Llyod Mantz; her siblings, Joe Shirley, Jr., Everett Leon Shirley, Erman Shirley, Richard Shirley, Roy, Ray Shirley, Ida Marie Morgan and Margarette Boas; and her grandson George Tyler Mantz.
She is survived by: her children, Kellie Gardener of Seymour and George W. Mantz (Nikki) of Seymour; her grandchildren, Chris, Courtney Cooper and Cassidy Mantz Schoenfelder (Jordan); and her sisters, Maribell Hickerson of Crothersville, Janet Lewis of Crothersville, Jean Stark of Brownstown and Sherry Shirley of Chicago. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
