He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Wheeler Sr. and Laura Wheeler (Boknecht); his wife Mattie Wheeler (Delph); and his brothers, Ben Wheeler Jr., Robert Wheeler, Lindy Wheeler and Jim Wheeler.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Wheeler (Carole) of Seymour and Ronald Wheeler of Seymour, Indiana.; and his sisters, Ann Trowbridge, Eva Jane White and Norma Jean Wheeler. He is also survived by Twelve great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
