He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald E. Bannister and Helen Bannister (Engle); his wife Barbara Sue Eble; and his siblings, Eugene Bannister, Ruby Johnson and Gail Solsberry.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Swindell (Jack) of Seymour and Greg Bannister (Christine) of Bowling Green, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Kyler Blevins (Carly) of Crothersville, Caleb of Bowling Green, Cheyanne of Bowling Green, Clarissa Bannister of Bowling Green, Lauren Swindell of Indianapolis and Lindsay Swindell of Columbus; his great grandchildren, Kolton, Kase and Keller Blevins of Crothersville; his siblings, Sondra Hart of Crothersville and Clifford Bannister (April) of Austin, Indiana; and his sister-in-law Penny Hollin (Terry) of Crothersville.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Crothersville Jr/Sr. High School Athletics Department.
